PrimeWater made significant strides in the Asian arena by winning three prestigious awards at the recently concluded Asian Water Awards, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in November 2023.
Organized by Asian Power and judged by an esteemed panel, PrimeWater was honored with the major recognition, the Water Company Excellence Award, which reflects the company’s relentless pursuit of operational excellence, innovation, and dedication to providing safe, clean, and accessible water to communities across the Philippines.
“Our continuous desire is to provide excellent and quality service to all Filipinos and to take care of our environment as well. We thank the Asian Water Awards for recognizing our efforts, and with this, we are more determined to continue leading the Philippine water industry towards excellence,” says PrimeWater Head for JV Operations, Atty. Cezar Ong, on his acceptance speech.
PrimeWater also received the Outstanding Water Treatment Plant Design Award for its Zamboanga Bulk Water Supply, which embodies the company’s creativity and innovation, for not only meeting but exceeding international standards and serving as the cornerstone of its success. It also bagged the “Water Education and Awareness Initiative of the Year” for its corporate social responsibility programs, representing PrimeWater’s commitment to fostering public understanding and appreciation of the company’s services and programs, its advocacies, and dissemination of water-related information.
